Mason Jar Lid Ornaments

So, what are we to do with the lids to the mason jars we make into candle holders?
Turn them into ornaments!
Pick whatever image you want to make an ornament of. Take the inside lid and trace it over the image to cut the perfect size. Hot glue the image onto the lid and then hot glue that inside the ring and tie a ribbon or some other prettiness around the outside ring.
Here are some examples I found in a google search:

And some without the outer ring:

Cute.
What did you make?
I made one with a cross stitch inside that had two holly leaves and our family’s name with the year. I try not to put our last name on here for safety reasons or I would totally post a picture. It turned out pretty cute. If you or anyone else makes any of the Mason Jar Monday crafts, email me a picture and I will post them
.
Remember making the ornaments in Girl Scouts with Juice can lids, but mason jar lids would work the same. You drew your pattern on, like a star and then pounded nail holes along the drawing and then used finger nail polish over it to make the light shine through?
MOM
I do remember that. I loved how the nail polish looked shining through it. I wish I had a picture to post. You don’t still have them do you?
How can I send you a picture- to your regular email?
MOM
That would be wonderful. Thanks mom!
