These are by no means the only deals happening at Walgreen’s this week but the ones I wrote up on my shopping list to take advantage of. Happy Shopping!

For the Kellogs overage deal- you must shop on August 5th or later to take advantage of the Kellogs 10.00 rebate by mail.

First Transaction:

6 packages of PopTarts (the only breakfast Paul will take to work with him)

4 packages of Rice Krispies Treats (to bring for desserts at small group for the next month)

Total= 20.00 minus $5 off in Manufacturer’s coupons from this Sunday’s insert= 15.00 minus 3.00 I have in rollover bucks= 12.00 minus the 3.00 off coupon for our new Walgreen’s store= 9.00 out of pocket. This will also give me 10.00 in rollover bucks🙂 making the transaction have 1.00 overage. THEN send in the 10 UPC codes with the Kellogs rebate form in this Sunday’s insert for 10.00 more overage. That is a total of 11.00 overage!!!

Second Transaction:

Dawn Dish Detergent 11 or 12.6 oz Use Walgreen’s coupon for .99 cents plus Manufacturer’s coupon for .50 cents. TOTAL: .49

Glade Scented Oil Candle Approx. 4.99 Use Manufacturer’s coupon for 2.00 plus easy saver rebate of 2.00. TOTAL: .99

2 Glade Scented Oil Refills 1.99 Use BOGO Manufacturer’s coupon to make the total 2/1.99 plus easy saver rebate of 1.00. TOTAL: 2/.99

2 Carmex Strawberry Tubes 1.49 Use BOGO Walgreen’s coupon. TOTAL: 2/1.49

AngelSoft 4 pack Walgreen’s coupon for .99 TOTAL: .99

Energizer Batteries 4 pack AA. 2.99 Walgreen’s coupon minus 1.00 off Manufacturer’s coupon. TOTAL: 1.99

2 Packs Papermate Pens. .09 cent Walgreen’s coupon. TOTAL: .18

My register total should be about 10.12 so I will use my 10.00 rollover bucks from the first transaction to pay .12 cents and get 3.00 in rebates on the second transaction for 2.88 cent total overage.

Second Kelloggs scenario option in case the 10.00 rollover won’t work for the above scenario posted in the comments.

Hi – just wondering if you have done your deal yet and if both of your register rewards printed. It looks like it might be a deal on Kelloggs and both might fall under the same category. Let me know if you get a chance. Thanks!

I am going to try it tomorrow since the transaction’s date has to be August 5th or later for the Manufacturer’s rebate. I am going to ask them first though if it will print two rewards. I know it would if it were separate transactions but since the rebate states that all 10 items must be on the same receipt, I can’t break the transactions up.

hi, i was wondering the same thing too, plus that “3.00 off coupon for our new Walgreen’s store”, is that coupon just in your region? i would love to get my hands on it, please let me know.

  4. Jen Says:

It is a new store in our region but you may be able to google search and see if there are any new stores near you. The $3 off coupon came in our Walgreens ad that is in the Sunday insert. If you are in the St. Louis, MO. area email me at brighteyed1983@hotmail.com and I can get you the location of the new store.

Okay Ladies, here is a second scenario that should work since it is two different rollover options.
    2 boxes of poptarts
    2 boxes of milkshake poptarts
2 boxes of rice krispies treats
2 boxes of rice krispies cereal with strawberries
    2 boxes of special k
total: 22 dollars minus 1.00 off two poptarts coupon from sunday’s insert minus 1.00 off two milkshake poptarts from the same insert minus 1.00 off two rice krispies treats from the insert minus 2.00 off rice krispies cereal with strawberries (print two coupons from the second link on moneysavingmom.com website under the kellogs deal) minus (2)1.00 off two special k cereals in the same insert (I think you can give them two coupons b/c you have two boxes- it has worked in the past). TOTAL= $9 plus 10 in rollover.

  6. rose Says:

so did you try the second scenario yet? i just wasn’t sure if i can buy (2) rr at the same time. will it print 2 rr(s)? even if theyre 2 separate deals?

  7. Jen Says:

Actually, I went Tuesday and they were sold out of the Kellogs promotions already so the cashier told me to try again Thursday or Friday. I am going to try again (I think I will call this time to make sure they have them first) and will let you know.
